All of the safety measures used to fight diseases like HIV and Hepatitis also kill the COVID-19 virus. We follow all guidelines set forth by the ADA (American Dental Association), OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration), and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control). • Routinely disinfecting all surfaces such as door handles, counter tops, etc.
• Protective plexiglass barriers in the reception area
• Removal of coffee service, magazines, and newspapers to help prevent cross-contamination.
• Limiting the number of patients in the office by asking patients to wait in the car for their appointment.
• Screening all patients prior to treatment by taking their temperature and asking COVID-19 screening questions.
